The Then:
Our family business started 44 years ago when Steve Oldham and his wife Joan started The Chimney Swifts.
Over the past 40 plus years Steve perfected the art of chimney cleaning with the utmost attention to detail and cleanliness.

Steve has always been proud of the company he started and of its reputation. We have always tried to be fair and honest with customers, and maintain the highest standard of professionalism and workmanship, in this very important safety service. We truly appreciate your business.
The Now:
Jon Nelson, Steve’s son-in-law, joined the team over 15 years ago.

As Steve headed into retirement, Jon carried on the torch! Not only does Jon carry the knowledge passed down by Steve, but the determination to continually improve this old school trade with the best tools and new practices.

Jon wants every customer to be treated as he and his wife Jackie would like to be treated. That is why Jon is on every job, giving YOU a specific date and one hour window of arrival. We will even let you know when we are on our way!

Our Process
After we make an appointment with you, and arrive in our one hour window, Jon will happily introduce himself and then be asked to see the fireplace or appliance that will be worked on.

A typical cleaning takes less than one hour. We value your time as much as ours! Plus with many years experience and top notch equipment, we will have your fireplace and area around it cleaner then when we arrived.
​
After the cleaning is performed, Jon can easily take payment in cash, check, or credit card, giving you an emailed receipt of the work that has been completed.
